re: Dragonfly Raiding Expectations

0

As a Kinship that Raids, Dragonfly has some guidelines for those wishing to participate in these Raids and Groups.

Below is a list of expectations for all members wishing to sign up and go on a raid at some point. Should you be unable to reach these expectations, ask your fellow members for assistance in how to do so.

* Try to understand the Raid:

If known, we try to publish what information we know about the Raid we are attempting (at some point).

Try to read through these, try to contribute via the forums, we don’t know everything just yet ;).

Also, remember, if you've run this before and the Raid Leader is doing it differently, this doesn't mean it's the wrong way; go with the flow and potentially learn something new.

If a Raid Leader is not directing an instance as YOU would, please initiate a private conversation with said Raid Leader, do NOT under any circumstances address it in an open Raid. The only exception to this rule, is if a Raid Leader has stated they will require open feedback.

* Arrive with a Full Inventory:

The current top level:

Battle & Warding Scrolls.
Edhelharn Tokens.
Full stacks of Morale & Power, also Poison, Wound, Fear & Disease removal Potions.
Cooked Regen Food, Resistance Soups for all four fortifying (wound, poison, disease, fear).
Your desired Trail food(s).

It is best to have these on all your Raiding characters, all the time, so we are prepared and it will save us all time.

If you are unable to obtain these, let your fellow kin members know beforehand so we can try to provide you with what you lack, before it starts.

* Traits/Gear/Legendaries:

Everyone should take pride in their characters and maintain the best possible Legendaries, Jewellery, Relics/Gems/Settings and Armour sets at all times.

You should aim to get your Legacies to their maximum Rank & Tier where practical.

Crafted Relics are easy to come by, so ensure you have these on your Legendaries.

Although we may be running Raids to acquire the NEW Armour & Jewellery, there are very good equivalents at the Skirmish Camp and can also be crafted, ask your fellow Kinmates to assist in providing these, obviously providing materials will get your needs faster.

Try to have Virtues as maxed as possible and be prepared to retrait should the Raid Leader require it.

If your Virtues need tender loving care, get a group together and work as a team to achieve these goals.

* Raid Sign Ups:

Please sign up for all raids that you want to attend. Sign up with class you want to bring to that particular raid. If applicable, state in note which armour piece you need. If you sign up to help fill a raid yet do not care if you're chosen, put this into a note.

Log on to game and get in Teamspeak at least 15 minutes before raid start time so the Raid Leader can plan before it commences.

While in Teamspeak and once the Raid has commenced, while still enjoying your Raiding experience, try not to be overly distracting, please allow the Raid Leader to direct everyone's attention to the matter at hand.

If your availability changes for a specific Raid, please update your intent on the Rapid Raid you're due to attend; Raid Leaders need to plan in advance, keeping them informed is paramount.

If we have surplus sign ups:

We will go with class/experience balance needs first.

This doesn't mean that the newer members with less experience will never raid.

However, this does mean that raid leaders have to balance what classes are must haves along with what positions need experienced and/or capable players to give the raid the best chance of success.

For each Raid night, we will attempt to rotate members (keeping the core group intact), so we can get everyone at least 1 run.

The Overflovians (excess sign ups) will be occupied by a Raid Leader, while the Main Raid complete the instance. Once the Raid is completed, we will rotate members & Raid Leaders (If needed) to get you all in.

All Raid Leaders will keep a list of who was excluded in their last run, if the rotation of Overflovians was not successful, to ensure they get a fair crack of the whip next time.

The Raid Leaders may have different needs and/or selection processes, but the fundamental need for specific classes will apply.

Our Raid Schedule can be found here.

Just bumping this post to highlight where it is.

Members need to assist their Raid Leaders by reading and adhering to the requirements.

Especially:

Log on to game and get in Teamspeak at least 15 minutes before raid start time so the Raid Leader can plan before it commences.

&

Arrive with a Full Inventory
